Hop Rhizomes – $7.00 each
It might not look like spring out there yet but it’s just around the corner. And that means it’s almost time to start planting your hop rhizomes!
A rhizome is basically a small section of a hop plant root that sprouts new hop shoots. They need to be planted under a couple inches of soil in a sunny spot. Provide plenty of water in well draining soil.
You can expect some hop “cones” in the first year but the plant really starts to hit its stride in the second and third season.
