We start with organic cane sugar and quality tea, then infuse our kombucha with ingredients you’re likely to find in beer. Bring a growler for a fill or take a 12 oz cup to go. Earl of Amarillo – A fine Earl Grey white tea kombucha hopped with Amarillo lupulin powder. Lemony with subtle floral notes and a piquant white tea base.
Tropikombucha – A blood orange black tea kombucha flavoured with Mosaic cry hops.
What Is Kombucha?
Kombucha (pronounced kum-boo-cha) is a living, slightly tart, carbonated tea beverage. It is low in sugar and rich in probiotics. Kombucha is made by fermenting black, green or white tea and sugar, with a culture called a SCOBY. A SCOBY is a Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria & Yeast. Because it is fermented, kombucha does contain trace amounts of alcohol, however at 0.5% ABV or less, it is considered a non-alcoholic beverage.
What is Water Kefir?
Similar to kombucha, kefir (pronounced kuh-feer) is a lightly fermented beverage made by fermenting sugar water with kefir grains. Unlike a kombucha SCOBY, water kefir colonies look like small crystals! Water kefir also has many of the same positive benefits of Kombucha.
