Top Hat Kombucha on tap:
$10 per 1 L or $4.25 for a 12 oz. cup
Spruce Tip – Sencha Green tea and Chinook hops combine to create a subtle grassy and piney beverage. But we didn’t want subtle, so we tossed some Spruce Essence in there. The outcome is compelling and decidedly unsubtle.
Strawberry Amarillo – A strong strawberry black tea was fermented and dry hopped with Amarillo lupulin powder for notes of grapefruit, melon and apricot. A very tasty combination with an intoxicating aroma.
Mango Galaxy – A pineapple and mango flavoured green tea is fermented then infused with Australian Galaxy hops for an extra fruity hit. A dank treat for hop-heads!
What Is Kombucha?
Kombucha (pronounced kum-boo-cha) is a living, slightly tart, carbonated tea beverage. It is low in sugar and rich in probiotics. Kombucha is made by fermenting black, green or white tea and sugar, with a culture called a SCOBY. A SCOBY is a Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria & Yeast. Because it is fermented, kombucha does contain trace amounts of alcohol, however at 0.5% ABV or less, it is considered a non-alcoholic beverage.
What is Water Kefir?
Similar to kombucha, kefir (pronounced kuh-feer) is a lightly fermented beverage made by fermenting sugar water with kefir grains. Unlike a kombucha SCOBY, water kefir colonies look like small crystals! Water kefir also has many of the same positive benefits of Kombucha.
