This is our second annual scholarship fundraiser for KPU’s Brewing and Brewery Operations Diploma program.

Hear from a panel of local experts and enthusiasts of the craft beer industry in an open question and answer period. Whether you’re a homebrewer, an entrepreneur, a student, or you just enjoy drinking the stuff, bring your questions and thirst for great, local craft beer!
Our panel this year consists of:
Gary Lohin – Local Legend and Brewmaster at Central City Brewers and Distillers
Alek Egi – Instructor at KPUs Diploma in Brewing and Brewing Operations program and former technologist at the Canadian Malting Barley Technical Centre (CMBTC)
Julian Zelazny – BJCP Master Beer Judge (The only person with that title in BC and one of the three in Canada!)
Zachari Turgeon – Lead scientist on yeast innovation at Bright Brewers Yeast Inc.
Carlos Mendes – Beer industry lawyer, contact lawyer for Richards Buell Sutton LLP Craft Beer Practice Group, Scout Magazine beer writer, writer of BC Beer Law blog
